PatrolPatrol division consist of 4 shifts, each shift has a supervising Lieutenant or Sergeant, and two officers. These officers are under the supervision of the Patrol Commander Capt. Mike Ussery who is responsible for all aspects of the patrol division. During the patrol officers 12 hour shift he/she conducts duties such as routine patrol, 911 responses, assist emergency medical personnel and respond to all calls for service. The patrol division is the back bone of the police department and acts as the towns “eyes and ears” and responds to various situations to ensure a safe and friendly environment for our citizens and visitors of Atlantic Beach.
